Fastpitch and slowpitch machines from JUGS, Heater Sports, and Sports Attack, including softball versions of the Hack Attack line — built to throw regulation 11″ and 12″ softballs at real game speed and distance.
How to choose. Match the machine to your game first: fastpitch machines replicate the flat, rising delivery hitters see at 43 feet, while slowpitch machines throw the high arc. Younger players (10U and below) usually train with 11″ balls; 12″ is standard from 12U up — make sure the machine is set up for your ball size, or choose a combo machine that adjusts. Pitch selection matters too: single-wheel machines handle fastballs and changeups, while multi-wheel machines add drops, rises, and curves for advanced hitters. If the same machine will serve baseball players too, look at the baseball/softball combo models that convert in minutes.
Every machine here pairs with dimpled or leather softball machine balls. Add a protective screen for front-toss and close-range work.
