Thanks to this design, hitters can develop an actual live-arm sense of timing and location, as they can easily see when to stride and the angle of release. With the quick turn of dials, fastballs, risers, drops, right- and left-handed screwballs can be thrown effortlessly and effectively.
The elevation adjustment handle of the Hack Attack allows for easy raising and lowering of pitches, and even adjusting the pitch up or down within the strike zone between pitches. With this feature, limited throwing head adjustments are needed and recovery time is almost instant, allowing for maximum efficiency during practice time.
The throwing head of the Hack Attack can pivot instantly in any direction for all fungo work, from deep fly balls to slicing line drives and towering infield pop-ups. With limited throwing head adjustments needed, this machine makes efficient use of practice time and delivers more strikes at every practice.
Transporting the Hack Attack is also easy, as it can be moved on and off the field by tilting it, un-socketing the legs, and rolling it on two heavy-duty transporting wheels (not the throwing wheels). This feature ensures that the throwing wheels never come in contact with the ground, preventing inaccuracy and wear.
The Hack Attack can be used with regulation leather baseballs, dimpled practice balls, Wiffle® balls, and all softer practice balls - not synthetic leather balls as they can wear quickly and leave a residue on the wheel.
