What balls should I load?

Can I use real baseballs in it?
Yes. The feeder itself works with any type of baseball: real regulation baseballs, lite balls, and dimpled pitching machine balls. It holds 12 at a time and feeds one about every 9 seconds. Just load the ball type your machine is matched to, since the machine, not the feeder, is what decides which balls pitch correctly. One tip from experience: dimpled machine balls feed the smoothest, because the raised seams on a real baseball can occasionally make a ball hesitate in the feeder.
